I played this scenario over the weekend. I really enjoyed it except that I felt a bit too constricted not being able to discard items given that you don't have any other characters you can exchange items with.

With that in mind, I propose a simple variant allowing your chacter to discard one item during the move/search phrase.

P.S Rather then a variant, perhaps I should buy the new "Hero Pack 1" expansion. Would be very interesting to play "Alone In the Dark" with the Chemestry Teacher.

Mr. Goddard becomes pretty cool when you get the Survival Tactic, "Spray Can Blowtorch"

It's a good scenario, our group plays it often.
