question on the card : jades diary,

does this mean you can only use this if she has a weapon to do a ranged attack?? or you can do this without having a weapon during the phase of the turn when a ranged attack could happen...

Hi,

A hero with jade diary does not need to have a ranged weapon.
It is a "new action" that a hero can do during the ranged phase.
But if the hero has a ranged weapon he/she have to choose between shooting or using the book.
