This came up during the introduction of new players a few nights ago. Some of the guys though movement around buildings should work like this.

But I figure it should be more like this:

Couldn't find anything specifying movement in the rules, faqs, erratas, or forums. Any thoughts?

You can diagonal around corners like that no problem. (Exception: A couple of the corners inside the Manor House that are called out by name in the rule book.) You can't move diagonally through doors, however.
