It's got a TON of replay value, I've found. Each game has a different twist and plot. Yes, there are a limited number of twists, but there are enough that you forget some of the details of previous times you have encountered the twist. I've had some incredibly cinematic play-throughs in this game.

Thanks. I thought it looks pretty cool. I'll keep it at the top of my wishlist.

I'ts an old Game that is being republished & updated. It's a tile based game where you create & explore
an old haunted house. The twist is that 1 of your fellow players is a traitor & is working in league with the House.

The orginial Game had the infamous Lake that could sometimes be found on the 3rd floor! I understand that
the updated Game has corrected that problem.

I would probably get it except that Mansions of Madness is coming out which also lets you build & explore
an old house but with a Lovecraft Mythos theme,so thats where my preorder $ went.

The fun is that no one knows who the traitor is until you get to a certain point of the game. So it's cooperative -- but until you find out who the traitor is, it shouldn't be TOO cooperative.
sounds interesting.. both the mansions and house on the hill. I love 'lovecraft' mythos.. Watchmen02

playing alot of arkham asylum right now..

Does anybody tried "All Thing Zombies" from Two Hours Wargames?

It appears players can all play Heroes while the rules takes care of the Zombies
(like in the solo version of LNOE).

I downloaded a sample a their rules to take a look.
But if anybody played it already, I'll be glad to ear about it.
four_2113, a member of the board won a copy of the rulebook. Well, his infant daughter did. But maybe if he asks nicely, she'll let him check it out.
i'd love to hear about it or see a link...!
played:

Last night on Earth
Zombie Plague (good for a PnP)
zombie Flux (if you like fluxx, you will like this)
Zombies!!! (need to be in the mode)
Zombie in my Pocket (very good PnP solo 10 min filler)
Mmm ... Brains! (zombies play dice)
The Great Brain Robbery (can go on to long - just don't eat the cheese)
