Full Version: Heros may choose not to move???

Hi all,

A couple of friends and I just started playing the zombie game when we came upon a little dilemma. Just say for example our heros are standing outside of a building on the playing field. Since they aren't inside a building, they cannot search and therefore must move. May Heros choose not to move after rolling the dice to do so? In the manual it states:

"To move, the Hero player rolls a D6 and 'MAY' then Move the Hero a number of spaces up to the number rolled (you do not have to move the full amount)."

To me the statement above, "you do not have to move the full amount" implies that you 'MAY' forgo any movement should you want to that turn. Please help us figure this one out!

The hero does not have to move if he does not want to. He always gets his movement roll (even if he KNOWS he's going to search, he still must roll it -- some expansion cards require that die roll result to be known). He can indeed choose to move zero and stay where he is, outside, in place, doing nothing.

Some other actions that you can do as the move action: searching (if inside), healing on a youth, firing the hunting rifle (from Survival of the Fittest).
Awesome!
Thanks for the help
