i was at a hobby store the other day and they have a nice bound and printed how to / survival guide on how to survive a zombie apocylipse.

looks like it may have been a re-write from a boilogical disaster manual.. but.. if you think about it.. it works.. Watchmen02

Great gag gift idea. If only I had room on my list......

I love this little excerpt from the Website:

Note 2: This kit is put together for entertainment purposes only. Please use your common sense.
i almost bought the one I saw.. but.. while I like zed movies, games and comics. a how-to survival guide might not be a good read.. Watchmen02

if anyone gets one.. let us know how you like it..

"The Zombie Survival Guide" by Max Brooks was pretty damn fun, and awesome, as well... Is that the one you saw, Soundguy? Max Brooks also wrote "World War Z", which was an excellent read!

yep.. that's the one i saw. do you have it/ was it any good?

never read wwZ.. is it setup like a serial story / recount of a zombie take over?

I have both books.
Was it a good read? hmmm...
It was a fun read.
The survival guide is basicly a do's and do not and the explenation why you should do or do not do certain things.
I found it informative because I had a certain view on things. You know the "what would I do scenario" in your head...and that book made me alter it.

The World War Z I found also very entertaining. It is a recording of certain events that led to global infection and what happend afterwards.
It's like a compendium of short stories about different people who have a shared problem.
It was nice. And as a zombiefan..you just got to have them.

I recently bought "Pride, Prejudice & Zombies " the deluxe edition and "Death Troopers" (Star Wars and Zombies)
Haven't started in PP&Z but did start on "DS". As a huge star wars fan when I was a kid...it's quite enjoyable.
i picked up a couple books at barnes and nobles..

dead city, and married with zombies.

both are about post zombie infection in a large city and struggle to survive.. dead city is about a cop.. and married.. is about a couple with problems on their way to therapy when the stuff hits the fan..

Do yourself a favor and be sure to LISTEN to World War Z. The audio book is absolutely awesome.
Henry Rollins does one of the characters in it, right? Oh, and they are making a movie of WWZ, as well.

BTW, both are written by the son of Mel Brooks!
