If you have a space conquered, and you atomic bomb it or demolish via any other means, the population is reduced to 0, does that mean you lose terror points equal to what the population was?

Normally I'm on the up about rulings, but they don't touch up on Terror Points really at all.

Yes, you do lose those points. Which is why rebuilding a Demolished site is such a useful card.
Alright, except between 19 atomic bombs and like 3 rebuilding, it seems favored to one side? Never mind the electric dam which can demolish adjacent on a 60% chance.
Four atomic bombs and 2 rebuilds. (Or, in a cooperative game, one rebuild for your deck, and one that's in the Resistance Event deck.)
Yeah, cities can be destroyed, and no one (except the Vyborian Arbitors) can gain any points from that. That's actually part of the strength of the Vyborians. They take advantage of that.
And guess who got stuck playing against the Vyborain arbitors...
