I'm trying to make new heroes that resemble the people in my gaming group. However, I am not finding miniatures that look appropriate for the design of the game. It seems like almost everything is fantasy based and I'm looking more for realism. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hasslefree has lots of non-fantasy type minis. I really like them. Check out these "Adventurers." Maybe some of your buddies or in this group.

Sweet Professor! Love the second one; even the shirt color is right.

We had a custom hero contest recently, and Emp won it with a version of himself, complete with matching mini. It ruled!
