been waiting for this for awhile and finally its happening. may 9th minecraft is coming to xbox live arcade. and it has an 8 player multiplayer mode. if anyone buys it and wants to play together my gamer tag is Plug Uglie. i can give noobs tips and stuff too, im a pretty good builder.

Cool... wish it came to ps3 either...

I have no idea what Minecraft is. My 10 year old keeps talking about it as well, he plays it at his moms house on the pc.

oh then you gota get it bro, u can play local split screen.

its pretty sweet tho, you spawn in a randomly generated world and have to survive and build. theres no real point or task to the game other than the goals you set for your self. like if you want to build a small farm house, castle, or an entire city you can but you have to work for it. you collect blocks like wood to craft items like pickaxes which let you mine for coal, metal. but the most important thing to do off the bat is find coal and make torches. cuz where ever there is darkness, zombies and creepers will spawn making night travel hard for new characters.

I didn't realise it was going to be 1600 points. I refuse to attach my cc to the account and cards only come in 1500 or 3000 point varieties here. So I'll need to get a card.

I just bought myself a new iPad so I'll have to wait until next pay to get a points card.

Mmmm.. Can't decide. I have never played it but my son raves about this, after creating a map in a star wars theme.
Also that is a lot of points to pay. I will check for a trial version on XBLA.
