I have to admit, I have never been a huge video gamer. I love video games, but I really only play certain games here and there that happen to interest me.

It occurred to me recently, that somehow, I have never really played any zombie video games, other than Dead Nation, the downloadable PS3 game I got free after the outage they had for a while. I don't know how the heck I managed that one!

So, can anybody suggest some good ones, preferably for PS3, but I have a PS2 I can use if needed. I know there must be tons, but somehow I've never had a chance to play any.
Dead Island is good fun. But it gets pretty repetitive once you get halfway trough the game.

And if you enjoy a good frightfest....check out Dead Space (1&2)
You can find Dead Space cheap so that is definatly a must buy.
Not actualy real zombies you encounter but more like things that ran away from Jon Carpenters The Thing. And boy are those games AWESOME.
Play em in the dark...alone...with suround sound...

Dead Rising 2 Off the Record is a good one
Dead Island, and anything from Resident evil is also a good bet
Hey staypuft,

I don't know if you have access to a Wii but I played a very fun zombie game on there called "House of the Dead: Overkill". It's very mature themed, designed after an old grindhouse horror movie feature so it's not for kids but I found it very entertaining.

It's the only shooter I've ever played on "rails". That is you don't control your player's movement. You just control which way your looking, shooting, and reloading.

Ah yes. Resident Evil 4 & 5 are good too. I played House Of The Dead Overkill too and it was fun...for the 20 minutes it lasted Watchmen02 I wanted this game so bad and got it as a birthday present and to be honest I felt cheated out of a good pressent Watchmen02

Just try Dead Space and get back to us on your experience mwuhahahaha
Unfortunately, I do not have a Wii.

Thanks, everybody, for the suggestions! I will definitely have to put them all on my list and try them out. But, from the sound of it, guess I should pick up Dead Space and Dead Space 2 first. ;-)
Good man Watchmen02
Yep, Dead Space series is completely awesome...
For PS3 why you don't try to download War Z or Day Z, those are really exciting zombie games and can play on your PS3 or Xbox 360.
