Welcome to the boards. I know how you feel. I am EXTREMELY shy in real life. Thing is, message boards are an awesome place for shy fellers like us. You can really open up and meet some great friends without having to be too shy to work up the nerve.
Heck, the Internet is an awesome place for us shy dudes. I've met some of my best friends online. Heck, I even met my wife online despite the fact that we lived literally 5 minutes from each other our entire lives.
