I have the tendencie to always click "view new posts" as I enter the site. Something got me thinking now that it does not always show all the new posts.

Would it also be possible that this option would not be timed?
Sometimes when I am typing things and after I am done I click the "new posts" thing again and it just shows my latest post. On other boards it just goes back to the list of latest posts. It sometimes goes back to the list I got first but on other times, mostly when I post things that take me longer to type, it just shows the last one. So that make me think it is timed in some way.

I usually just click on "today's posts" because I don't trust the "new posts" button...it scares me..

The "view new posts" button seems to treat me well. It seems to be "view new posts since last time I visited the site". I've adapted to how it works, but, as Zach mentioned, if I need to be sure (ie, when I'm checking in the morning for spam...) I use the today's posts button.
