Actually, I just was reminded by your post, Ryuk -- Johnny has the "wins on a tie" ability.

Johnny wins ties - that means if he ties and rolls doubles, the Zombie takes a wound.

Katie only fends off on a tie - if she ties and rolls doubles, she takes no damage, but neither does the Zombie.

Any other Hero, of course, would take a Wound on a tie.

I agree with SPARTY on his ideas with Hide and moving through walls, also. She's little... it makes sense.

But how many abilities can we give her?

Exactly, he already ran into that problem too. x)

For the sake of real estate and keeping things simple, I would do something along the lines of:

SCRAPPY: May discard an Item to prevent a Wound on the roll of 3+.
HIDE: May cancel any Fight she is in on a roll of 4+ (before Fight dice are rolled).
LITTLE KID: Cannot be the target of "This may be our LNoE." Can move through walls as long as she does not end her movement inside a building.

This would allow her to be elusive, makes the most of her 1 Wound, and gives her a clear support role. She would be an ideal candidate for situations where you need to get scenario items and hold them in place for a turn (ie: burn it to the ground, escape in the truck).

Would be great to get the trash can lid though.

That was mainly a housekeeping thing - by limiting her to those cards I keep it in the basic set, rather than assume any expansions. (i for example am having a hard time justifying to myself spending $30 plus shipping for 30 cards from the webstore...)
