One of many many hobbies aside from gaming and painting is the hobby of metal detecting. I thought I'd share my latest find with you. It's 2 silver hammered pennies. (coins)

Well there's more my first roman coin it's Annia Galeria Faustina, more familiarly referred to as Faustina I (Latin: Faustina Major; born on September 21, in about 100; died in October or November of 140[1]), was a Roman Empress and wife of Roman Emperor Antoninus Pius.

Sorry it's not game related but I thought I'd share my good news.

Very interesting post Trev and thanks for sharing - always got time for a bit of history. So are they classed as Treasure Trove - will you get rich?

I found them on some farmers fields in Derbyshire. Can't say more than that... (permission was obtained)

Around £100 as it's in great condition.

I'm going to keep this one but if I find another one then it's going on the market. There's a lot of people out there collecting coins and I'm sure they'd be interested adding one of these ancient coins to their collection.

How deep in the ground were they buried?

Good question! Both coins were about 3-4" deep. (between 8-10cm).
