I read the F.A.Q. and found this:

Can event cards be played at any time? In other words, can a Hero player play one of his Event cards while another Hero player is taking his turn?

So in effect, Player A could play a card on Player B to cancel a Zombie Event? And then on Player C's turn also play a card?

Yes, there is no restriction on how many cards the hero can play during a turn.

Correct. Those cards represent events happening during the course of the night. They can happen basically any time...during any of the player turns or during the zombie turn (unless there are restrictions spelled out on the card; some say "Play as an action..." or "Play when...", etc.).
