Good bye George Romero. You brought Zombies into the homes of millions of people and I salute you for it. Thank you for your films and your inspiration.

The zombie genre has always been my favorite choice for horror movies. I can't even begin to express my gratitude to Mr. Romero and his vision. They have come quite a ways from the initial "flesh eating ghouls" in Night of the Living Dead. A group of my friends and I binge watched the collected works of Mr. Romero the following weekend after his death. May he have safe travels as he traverses the veil between this world and the next.
