Hi all, I hope you're all doing well out there.
Some of you will recognise these figures. They're Sylvaneth Dryads by Games Workshop. They're priced at £27.50 ($37.40) for these figures. I bought mine second hand and just resprayed them.
Pros and cons of these miniatures:
Pros
I think they look suitably malevolent as living trees
Great detail
Multi-pose (I believe)
Quick to paint
£1.72 ($2.34) per figure
Cons:
Gotta lay out a lot of cash on terrain stuff if you want to make forest bases. Although many things on my bases are out of the garden. Sticks (dried out over years) and stones.
None.

Conclusion
Well, the project continues apace. The Delion Dryad now has all her Minions painted up and ready to wreck havoc upon the beleaguered denizens of Shadowbrook. I think these GW models are great for the Living Trees Minions. I had some great fun painting these with my Games Workshop Contrast Paints. It actually took me longer to work on the bases. There's an old saying amongst miniature painters: bases and faces. Get those two alright and you're onto a good thing. That's what I've tried here anyway.
I would rate these miniatures 5/5 perfect for this project.
Thanks for taking a look folks and I'll be back with more stuff soon!
As always, comments welcome.
Happy gaming and painting out there
