The Spectral Walkers are DONE . I finished the Matt Spray Varnish so by tomorrow I can box them up.
In a week or so I intend to break out Black Plague so Spectral Walkers will be ready.
This painting project has taken 2 months mainly for 18 figs. but a lot of time was taken up by getting
my courage up to do the base coating. I'm thinking of moving on to Green Horde but I'll need to do
a deep dive into the paint I'll need vs what I have on hand.

Keep the project going OD
I'm adding another Zombie faction to Black Plague using 6 Orc Walkers
from Green Horde. These figs will represent members the Orc Garrison from
the Shunned Mother Tribe that were ambushed & overcome by the Zombies
of the Town's People they had killed.(Karma is a Bitch).
I'm only using 1 Spawn Card from Green Horde & all Spawns represent Orc Walkers
(The Orcs pulled out of the City proper once it was overrun by the Zombies & now
only patrol the outskirts).

I prepped the figs yesterday (in dish soap/warm water & a toothbrush scrub)
so today I sprayed on the primer (always a tense moment for me since my
BattleLore figs disaster).
It was rather cold this AM so I waited till things warmed up till my basement thermomotor
read 60F & things came out OK. I was going to use a grey primer but it was nowhere to
be found so I used flat black.
My paint station is rather in shambles but it's only 6 figs with a limited color range
(skin/tunic & Orc clan stripes) so I should be fine. However tomorrow, S.Jersey
is due for a major wind/rain event which might make my basement painting station
a bit too dark & dreary to get in the painting mood.
This is when I miss my previous paint station tucked away on the 3rd floor of
my old house it was a hidden room you find in old Victorian houses.
My basement station is more practical but just not as cozy.

As advertised today was dark, rain, damp so I just turned on the fireplace
& read some Lovecraft.

Can't fault that
There's always tomorrow.
Not quite! Early evening Saturday the power went out for 6 hours (tree limbs bringing down power lines)
So as there's little to do in total darkness (well not at my age) so I napped for a couple of hours.
Still no power so I brought out some battery powered lanterns & read some more Lovecraft
(which was actually a very cool experience).
The power came back after midnight so my sleep schedule was messed up; watched TV for a couple of
hours & finally went to bed.
Sunday was no better same wet/dark dreary day so nothing to inspire me to paint. Today (Monday)
is alas no better & this crappy weather is expected to be around until Wednesday.
Hopefully I'll remaining mood until then .
