The card "First Aid Kit" says:
Discard to fully heal any one Hero in the same or an adjacent space (except during a fight)
Can this card be used on your own Hero?
I mean, if you find this item, can you use it on yourself.
Last night we played it and some of us thought you could and others said you couldn't. So we let the dice decide
To me, it always meant including yourself. Seeing how you are a "Hero".

It's the "in the same space" that bothers me. This would be kind of stupid if you say like "I'm in the same space with myself".
On the other hand then again they might have put "must be used on others" or "you can't you this on yourself" if they don't allow it to be used on your own hero.
Then we got talking about how in real life it's always someone else who puts on the bandages and stuff. Wich resulted in us talking about the game being a B-Movie type thing and that in movies the real heroes patch up themselves (Rambo stitching his own arm).
On BGG, someone asked about the "except during a fight" part of the card in relation to one Hero having multiple fights.
LNoE creator Jason Hill replied with:
"As for the First Aid Kit, 'During a Fight' is from the time that the Fight Dice are rolled (one Zombie vs one Hero), to the time at which the Fight is Resolved (somebody wins and somebody loses - Zombie is fended off and/or wounds are taken). You CAN use the First Aid Kit between two Fights (after the first Fight resolves, but before the second Fight begins). This can be very important in keeping your Heroes alive.

This means a Hero in multiple fights can use a First Aid Kit to heal himself between fights.
Also, a First Aid Kit is the only way that Becky can heal herself, as she can only use her Special Ability on other Heroes.

Zombie, do you have anything to back up the ability to use the FAK on the hero who owns it? I get the very distinct impression that you can only use it on another hero, not yourself. A hero could give the kit to another in the same space to get healed though.

If you can use the First Aid Kit between fights that pretty much answers the being able to use it on yourself. It doesn't make any sense at all that you could not use the first aid kid on yourself and it doesn't state that you cannot. The heroes need all the help they can get and I am sorry but if I don't have nurse Becky by my side and I am all alone in a dark factory and I find a first aid kit I am so using it if I am injured.
Also having the "In the same space" means that Heroes in the same space as you can have the First Aid kit played on them.
