I have been deciding between this and Betrayal At House On The Hill for my next game purchase. I appreciate the discussion and info. I figure with the rate at which I am able to actually have game time I have quite a while to decide still anyway but I'm definitely leaning towards this now.

Well I don't have Betrayal (the Tile Warping just put me off)but MoM is massively Great.
I just finished the first Game and it was just touch & go.

The Inv just escaped in time by having to solve a lock puzzle the Event Card Clock we
had 2 time chits left and 2 Inv Sanity was at 3 & 4.

Really a Game that draws you into it.

I played Mansion... for the first time this weekend. It's an alright game. I have issues with some of its mechanics, but I'm not throwing into the list of games that I'll groan over when my friend brings it up. It's "alright" to me.

I just finished up a Sessions Report,as it's not FFP and is rather long I didn't want to
post it here, anyone interested here's the BBG Link:

It was really a great game by the time the Zombie jumped us in the Entryway I thought
it was over and then getting out only to find the front door locked!

Really lucked out neither Jenny or Joe are big on intelligence and Joe was laboring
with a vision problem that had a negetative effect on his Ability checks.I had to draw
on the final lock puzzle and came up with the piece I needed.

Well, here are a couple of pics from Friday's game.

Ashcan Pete having used the ladder to the Chapel first was met with some stiff competition, made all the worse when one of the cultists summoned up a Shoggoth:

Harvey Walters soon rushed to Pete's aid and took on the cultists, leaving Pete to attack the Cthonian:

In the end, Harvey gave his life to the cause but Michael McGlen burst through the door and sprayed the wounded Cthonian to save the day, though he declined to have his picture taken, Mobsters, eh!

I really like this game and can't wait for our next session!

I've primered my figures, but I haven't sat down to paint them yet! I should try to get to that today... I loved the one game we played, and I'm looking forward to more sessions!

Starting is Hell for me...once I start I do 40-to 60 minutes a night and a couple
of hours over a weekend but, getting started is painful.

Season of the Witch

Seem like a good idea to me to go this way with add-on scenarios.
