What'choo do for a living? - four_2113 - 11-26-2010 04:50 PM I'm always curious what my fellow gamers do for a living, so what do YOU do to make ends meet? Personally, I'm a Wind Turbine Technician, which is a fancy way of saying "janitor and electrician and mechanic". It certainly is better than my previos position, "Freelance Opportunist". It has great views, too! (Yes, that's me!) RE: What'choo do for a living? - Old Dwarf - 11-26-2010 05:15 PM We now have Age & Occupation but I trust this will be as far as it goes, I don't really want to own up to my sex life I'm a Principal Probation Officer with the Enforcement Division. Sort of a State version of Middle Management. OD RE: What'choo do for a living? - Mater Tenebraum - 11-26-2010 05:20 PM Keep running, keep running I'm an Office Manger for a Medical Practice (when I'm not running) M RE: What'choo do for a living? - mqstout - 11-26-2010 05:26 PM I fix computers in a business school of a university. (Translation: I deal with whiny prima donna faculty who want everything that's impossible, but they want it yesterday.) In reality, that just enables me to be a life-long student, since classes are nearly free as an employee. Four, those pictures are SCARY. And on first glance, I read Mater as "Office Manager for a Medical MALpractice". LoL,well a big part of my job is maintaining Malpractice Insurance, the cost & the hoops they put you through are outrageous M RE: What'choo do for a living? - zombie67 - 11-26-2010 07:31 PM As I mentioned on the age thread, I am an Art Student, studying photography but also trying to branch out into multi-media projects. RE: What'choo do for a living? - sickboy - 11-26-2010 09:12 PM I sell engineering equipment to the export market. RE: What'choo do for a living? - Sarku - 11-26-2010 09:26 PM Own my own design company... RE: What'choo do for a living? - Emp - 11-27-2010 02:24 PM I'm a printer. Working in a digital printing company now, operating a HP Indigo 7000 digital printingpress. Quite the change from being a offsetpress printer And as far as work goes...my only motivation is "it pays the bills" RE: What'choo do for a living? - Skip Nicholson - 11-27-2010 04:04 PM I'm an investigator for the State Department of Transportation. If you've been lyin' cheatin' or stealin' you'll eventually get invited to drop by for a little chat. Which, of course, makes me about the most UNPOPULAR person in the agency. I'm a 60 year old male (but remarkably young-looking and handsome for my age) and have been gaming since I was 12 or 13 years old. I'm also a musician and have played with a number of regional "folk" bands here in the South-Central USA. I play Guitar, Mandolin and 5-String Banjo. I also like to paint miniatures. I have two Bearded Collies who do sheep-herding and agility. In a previous life (30 years ago) I was a Radio/TV reporter. I'm married and have a 30 year old daughter. YAAAAHHHHHH, runaway...he's a geezer...(but remarkably young-looking and handsome for my age) |
