Hello all,
New to the LNOE gameplay, but not new to the zombie scene. I've been infatuated with zombie "culture" for many years before it came into fashion. I've got my real-world zombie apocalypse arsenal and supplies in place and am just waiting for 12-12-2012 to role around.....
Anyways, I love LNOE and am thrilled that my wife was cool enough to get me such a fun game. I think it is one of the finest board games I've ever played and love the idea behind it.
Looking forward to chatting and exchanging ideas with everyone here. If anyone has any questions about real-world survival or weapons, just drop me a line. I'm not an expert, but I live the life 24/7.

Ok, I must follow up and refine ODs question. Pump action -or- double? If double, side by side or over/under? If Pump action, Remington or Mossberg.
I have a classic 870 Remington Pump Action 12 Guage. I just started alternating No. 4 buck and slugs for the 7 in tube on a recommendation. 1 Buck in the chamber and the the first in the tube is a slug and then alternating.
