Fighting minions after KO - bachslaugh - 01-25-2011 08:21 PM
So the rule books state that a hero and minion can never be in the same space at the same time. So I am assuming if a hero is ever in a space with a minion at any point they have to fight... right? So what happens if there is a minion at town hall and a hero is revived from being knocked out... do they immediately have to fight? I was wondering because it seems like this has the potential of a never ending cycle of being revived and knocked out if you are unlucky enough.

That's pretty much what happens. In a cooperative game, having someone come to the rescue of someone unconscious at Town Hall with a monster lingering over them can actually add some nice drama.

That almost happened to me last night. I have Victor and my son has Karl(with 5 wound and 7 combat). There are minions everywhere and I'm trying to get him to clear the board for me. I haven't had enough Investigation to get the item that lets me roll Honor for Combat.(At 5) I have been KO'd once and right after leaving the Town Hall a minion appeared. We are picking up where we left off yesterday when he gets home from school. Hopefully, I can get some help from him today. lol

Oh nuts, we did this wrong. We let the person run away from the town hall. Seemed like the logical thing, but I can see now that that wasn;t right.
On a side note, how does one get rid of the bats when fighting the Vampire? Do they stay on the board forever? We have only played 2 games of this, so we are total noobs still. I didn't see this anywhere else in the forums.

They go away after they are encountered. Same with wolves. I am sure and it was in a FAQ
