I ran a Call of Cthulhu one-shot at the Appalachian State University Game Club LAN Party Sunday. A small group of investigators try to find out why the owner of a Providence house went mad. I've run The Haunted Place before but the player never finished the game. Here's what happens when a group of investigators actually follow-through with the investigation.

Four people continue to investigate what happened at Lonely Point Lighthouse and find out what is haunting the place. They've already found the desiccated corpse of Bessie Fitch. What other horrors will there be during the nor'easter?

Thanks. This was an odd one as it had a potential somewhat happy ending if the players didn't completely screw it up. Turned out to be a lot of fun. It also had quite a few handouts, which I love.

I ran a Call of Cthulhu Game at NerdCon 2015 at Appalachian State University. "Terror Over Tokyo: The Obake Shima Incident" took place during the Doolittle Raid on Tokyo in April 1942. The B-25 Bomber that is part of the raid must make hard choices when one of the fuel tanks is punctured.

"The Play's the Thing: The Pirates of Candle Cove" is about a new play at the Globe. Soon, sinister things begin to happen at the theater. What is going on and will the actors even survive?

Drunk Tabletop!
On July 21, 2015, we played a one-shot using the BRP rules. The catch - everyone got pretty drunk before the game and during character creation and remained so during the game. The game takes place present day near Boone, N.C., at a party of one of the characters.
