Secrets- Little Secrets- says no effect on the card, that just means the elder can join the hunting party with no immediant complications right?

Basically it means the card has no effect on the Game what so ever.So yes the Elder could join the Hunting Party
with no complications(or benefits).

So there are 6 cards like this and your saying those chosen elders would not be able to add their game text to help? but obviously they would be there to take a wound

No- what I mean is the Little Secret cards has no effect,
you use the card text for that Elder as usual.

Yes.
Basically, those are flavor for the game (Lord Hanbrook's a peeping tom, but otherwise not a bad guy) etc.
