RE: District-Z KS is Live! - Sarku - 07-11-2014 04:36 AM Some of the best characters will be in the Brandi Bare expansion. Don't count it out yet!!! There will be other stretch goals. I absolutely needed some time to breathe and get things done. That was probably the biggest reason for the $3,000 stretch goal. There are other things in the works for later on. And I need to do some card creation as well. Obviously Chief your a Brandi fan but the cartoon nature of the Cards in the ("realistic") gritty nature of District-Z for me just doesn't work. Will that expansion include other Cards that are not of a cartoon nature? So when will you start on your 2nd D-Z LicKstarter, now that your a successful Game designer/producer? OD PS The D-Z KS Site has generated over 200 comments from backers so I put in a Link to this Forum in case any backers who weren't aware of TZG were interested. RE: District-Z KS is Live! - StayPuft - 07-11-2014 03:13 PM It is just too cool that this has not only succeeded, but kicked some serious arse this time! Cannot wait to get my hands on my copy of the game. I definitely can see the point about the Brandi Bare characters mixed in with a more photo-realistic game. Still, I've got a thing for Goth chicks. LOL! So, I had to include them in my set. RE: District-Z KS is Live! - Old Dwarf - 07-11-2014 06:03 PM (07-11-2014 03:13 PM)StayPuft Wrote: Still, I've got a thing for Goth chicks. LOL! Well who doesn't but I still need a realistic Goth Gal to to make it work for me.( God I sound like an old perv. but then again ) RE: District-Z KS is Live! - Old Dwarf - 07-11-2014 08:09 PM My the Chief is busy, now we have a Survivor background contest. You send him a background for one of the Stretch Goal Characters in 600 words or less & if he selects it then it goes into District-Z. I started one on Corrine but I can't read the information on her Cards shown on KS so I can't be sure my background would match the Card information. Cannot wait to get my hands on my copy of the game. my entire game group is chomping at the bit waiting for it to come out. I bet when I get my copy we play it for the next few weeks straight in lieu of our usual weekend 2-3 other games. RE: District-Z KS is Live! - Sarku - 07-12-2014 01:17 PM I replaced the portraits with their survivor cards. You can see their quotes and abilities and get a feel for the characters. RE: District-Z KS is Live! - SpoKnight - 07-12-2014 03:43 PM At this link? http://www.district-z.com/survivor-backstory-contest/ Now there is No Picture. RE: District-Z KS is Live! - Sarku - 07-12-2014 05:15 PM UH... There should be a gallery of images there. I see it. RE: District-Z KS is Live! - Old Dwarf - 07-12-2014 05:58 PM I found it & Corrine about matches what I had started, one of her Cards featured a Katana so I put that in. I've sent it off to Sarku . It would be neat to be selected but I'm hardly Steven King so even if my Corrine isn't chosen it was still fun. OD |
