Thanks for the Hobby Lobby Tip! - the_munt - 12-11-2016 05:05 AM
So I picked up one of the hobby lobby cases I saw some folks on here are using for LNOE storage.
Cut a big hole in the tray to fit the hard card holders in, also removed the folding frame and hinged the palette so the board pieces can't pinch against the case. Planning on wood burning the game logo on the top too!

Had a crack at burning the logo last night to see how it would look just burnt. Wasn't impressed so I'll be painting it too, but I've made a start!

Tossing up whether or not to add the white but afraid I might lose all traces of the wood burn.

That looks awesome! I think you are right. I would skip the white and leave the wood look too. Super functional; I love it.

Put the finishing touches... well almost all of them on tonight. Had to cut about 2mm of the side out of the case so that 2 L shape board prices would fit snug in the top compartment, also added a cupboard latch so the palette doesn't fall open when you open the main compartment!
Managed to fit LNOE, GH, SotF, BitF, Hero Pack 1 and 3 supplements all in now, I'm now properly mobile!

That is awesome! I am so jealous of people with creative talent like this. I can't build/modify things for the life of me. It would be nice to have better storage solutions like this because I am getting so sick of all my games that come with so much stuff that I've honestly stopped bringing most of them to my game nights. I'd love some simple brief case type things like this for each of my games.
