The British Came (at last) my Irish Horsemen from Pendraken afternoon.
I'll prep them up tomorrow so hopefully I'll have them finished up by early
next week to complete the Doom(s) Project.

A tad behind schedule (due to minor(hopefully) health issue-old age sucks).The Pendraken
figs are well cast the only flash was at the bottom of their bases.
I filed the flash off & gave them the warm water/dish lotion/soft brush treatment to remove
and mold oils & set them out to dry. Today I need to spray basecoat the lot so I can get to
painting.

Well my painting passion has definitely run its course but I need to finish this project.
I've painted the Freerider figs (15) flesh & horses so I'm making the effort.
I'm setting a completion date of June 1st.

OK- I blew right by my completion date, I am trying though I have 2 more things to
paint on the figs & then the base strip.

The figs are all painted, I'll do a soft tone wash & then some quick highlights.
The fig. base strip need to be painted Earth Brown & then glued to the Game
Bases.

The horsemen are finally done so all I need to do is glue them to the game bases however
I have misplaced my glue so another hold up.
The entire project needs to be varnished but at least the painting is done.

Beginning of the end. This AM I sprayed a gloss coat on 3 of the 4 armies in this project. I let it dry for 48 hrs.
& they do a matt spray coat to finish them off. The Dwarf Army still needs to be done but as I just finished painting
some of its figs. I'll do them later this week.

Finis!!! I just gave the entire 4 armies their final Matt Varnish coat so the painting
project is officially over. Tomorrow I'll box the figs up.

Dude, get some pictures and get someone to upload them somewhere! This has been a real ride following along, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who'd love to see the finished project.
