cross over scenarios..? - het - 02-10-2010 12:19 PM

hello
never thought about some "cross over" scenarios including a touch of evil" characters" in some "last night on earth" game scenarios ?

perhaps this is just without any interest...

Well....No..:P given the late 18th early 19th century AToE
& the 1950's + of LNoE time frames it's not a natural fit.

Yet now I'm thinking,we do have 1 character that seems
to be in both games & of course the expansion Vampire is immortal so there's two.If you had an extra set of AToE
figs you could do them as Character Zombies.

Maybe the AToE figs helpful or harmful spirits? This
would require some "House" rules but Lord Hanbrook
running around the Manor would be cool.

Nice ,weird thinking HetZombie03

Nice idea, Het.

I now have the mad urge to get an extra set of AToE minis just to make Zombies of them....

but as I have just ordered the 3 new expansions, coupled with the fact that I need to buy some other special zom minis for a homemade scenario I thinking about, I think AToE Zoms will have to wait. Zombie17

Victor Danforth can be used pretty easily as an actor.
Brother Marcus can be used with no problem whatsoever.
Anne Marie's figure could fit in not too badly as a school teacher or librarian. Her dress isn't too period.
Adrianna might be able to be used as a Wiccan, but it's a stretch.

The rest, though -- they're all alternate figures for the single "Period Re-enactor" character.

well the "idea"...was just to imagine ATOE heros "coming" from the past and arriving in a town full of zombies.
they must escape or face all zombies and their masters, the Headless Horseman...
they can use their old weapons and powers or try to use modern ones they can find (heroe cards must be adapted..of course)...

ahhh just a silly idea...:shy:

I didn't realize that's what you were going for, het. Hmm. It could possibly work with some effort.

I still think you should make the ATOE characters into Revolutionary war re-enactors. See previous psychosis:

(For some reason these usually kill the forum subject).

I guess one problem with a more complex cross-over game is the team mechanics. In LNOE there are the 'evil' zombies vs survivors and int ATOE the villain is automated. I have no idea if that even could be merged and somehow balance it afterwards. Maybe if the ATOE could be played first and the resulting darkness would determine who gets to start with extra cards. (shadow track at 0, 1 or 2, Zombies get 2 cards, shadow track at 3 or 4, zombies get 1 card. Shadow track at 5 or 6 no cards are given, 7 or 8 - 1 hero card given, 9+ 2 hero cards given.

The problem is that this is playing the games in campaign style and not at the same time.
