Hi folks. I just wanted to let everyone know that I received some exclusive information regarding two upcoming Flying Frog products. Two!? Read on fellow munions.
I'm sure that you're well aware of 'Invasion From Outer Space: The Martian Game' - releasing in early Fall. But the big secret is that Flying Frog is announcing not ONE, but TWO games for 2010. It was hinted that "Conquest begins with Invasion" (the cryptic message from the 'Survival of the Fittest' rulebook fine print). This refers to Flying Frog's upcoming 'Conquest of Planet Earth: The Space Alien Game'.
Two alien games in a row can't be a coincidence, right? Right! 'Invasion from Outer Space' features a group of Martians scouting Earth for a possible full-scale alien attack. 'Conquest of Planet Earth' IS that full scale alien attack and has the distinction of being Flying Frog's first ILLUSTRATED game. That's something that's been planned from the start. It'll feature the stunning artwork of illustrator Matthew Morgaine - who did the board artwork for the LNOE and ATOE games and expansions, all of the frog logos, and he is the Drifter as well!
