Mood music
Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone has a playlist or something they use while they play? I realize that there's a CD in the original game package. I think the idea of specific mood music is great, however the execution is not (my group only lasted about two songs ...) I think I'm gonna give some zombie movie OST a try next time we play, just have to find the right one. |

That was pretty neat idea, wish I was around back then, I definitely would have contributed.... Oh well.

We can always turn this thread into a Vol. 2.

I found most of the songs and made a playlist on Grooveshark: http://grooveshark.com/#!/playlist/LNOE+...k/66062963 It's missing a few songs though. I couldn't find Goodbye with Stabbing Westward or Ritual with Amenra. I also included Thriller with Michael Jackson even though there was some dispute about it. For Vol. 2 I think I'd pick For Whom the Bell Tolls with Metallica. It fit really well in the zombieland intro: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1uUHamXmUAI |

RE: Mood music
Perhaps Vol 2 could be a compilation where each song is a theme for the different Heroes...
I would go with Red Right Hand for Jake Cartwright. Take a litle walk to the edge of town Go across the tracks Where the viaduct looms, like a bird of doom As it shifts and cracks Where secrets lie in the border fires, in the humming wires Hey man, you know you're never coming back Past the square, past the bridge, past the mills, past the stacks On a gathering storm comes a tall handsome man In a dusty black coat with a red right hand He'll wrap you in his arms, tell you that you've been a good boy He'll rekindle all the dreams it took you a lifetime to destroy He'll reach deep into the hole, heal your shrinking soul Hey buddy, you know you're never ever coming back He's a god, he's a man, he's a ghost, he's a guru They're whispering his name through this disappearing land But hidden in his coat is a red right hand You ain't got no money? He'll get you some You ain't got no car? He'll get you one You ain't got no self-respect, you feel like an insect Well don't you worry buddy, cause here he comes Through the ghettos and the barrio and the bowery and the slum A shadow is cast wherever he stands Stacks of green paper in his red right hand (Organ solo) You'll see him in your nightmares, you'll see him in your dreams He'll appear out of nowhere but he ain't what he seems You'll see him in your head, on the TV screen And hey buddy, I'm warning you to turn it off He's a ghost, he's a god, he's a man, he's a guru You're one microscopic cog in his catastrophic plan Designed and directed by his red right hand (Organ solo) |

RE: Mood music
Oh man, I just started playing but as soon as i got through my first game i new what music would be wicked to play but only if you wanna keep everyone on edge! Look for anything from Lustmord and/or Steve Roach. Mystic Chords and Sacred places is the only album i have from Steve Roach and it's dark stuff. Get the lighting just right and you can create some eerie environments!!

RE: Mood music
Our group always starts playing with the OST
afterwards we use all kinds of Movie soundtracks as long as it is a bit quiet and creepy or chaotic. examples: "an epic age" - The immediate we also used "Electric worry" - clutch it was used in commercials with L4D2 |
