Zombie turn order and playing cards
I think my wife pulled a fast one on me so I need some clarification.
At the end of my hero turn, my wife (zombies) was holding two cards. She proceeded to start a zombie turn by moving the sun tracker, and then playing both cards both of which said "At the beginning of the zombie turn...". She then proceeded to pick up 4 new cards (!!) as this is the next step of the zombie turn before rolling to see if she could spawn, and then moving her zombies. The issue is "beginning of the zombie turn" which we have interpreted (correctly, I hope!) as the steps before the zombie player moves her zombies. Then blending the bit about if the zombie uses her cards on the zombie turn, she can draw 4 new ones. Clear as mud? |

RE: Zombie turn order and playing cards
This was all played correctly. It is sneaky, but legal.

RE: Zombie turn order and playing cards
yeah, that is legal. I have had 4 play at the start of the zombie turn before, played them all, and picked up 4 new ones.

Just to add weight to the ruling, I say yes, she was completely within her rights to do what she did to you. Sorry, buddy, that's just the way the cookie crumbles on this one. It couldn't have been said better than...

RE: Zombie turn order and playing cards
in this particular situation, we were playing All Hallows Eve II and the heros trounced the zombies with plenty of time to spare

The Ritual gives the Heroes quite an edge, in my opinion. Im a big fan of "Father Joe" the Ritual or Alls Hallow Eve II I do agree, Father Joe is way easier for the Heroes than the zombie player. .... Then i added SOTF....... first time playing it, i was Zombies....I won in less than 5 turns. my group learned how to compensate real fast !!!! good times, good times " Feed me your Flesh " |
