A trip to the grocery store
So I was shopping at the big chain grocery store in my neighborhood. It was going to be a long trip, we needed a lot of stuff. I brought a list, and a pen. I was picking up groceries and checking them off on my list as I went.
Then I dropped my pen. The word "ASS!" escaped my lips without conscious processing, and a young lady, very pretty saw my scrubs and gave me a very disapproving expression. "I'm sorry, I have tourettes..." I said to her. She cocked her head at me. "No I don't...." Rolling her eyes, the pretty lady walked away. The moral to the story: if you have a chronic potty mouth and use medical reasoning to excuse it, be prepared to commit to the lie. |

RE: A trip to the grocery store
Awkward situations are great! LOL!
Now the big question is, did the young lady know what tourettes is? I'm not dead. I'm electroencephalographically challenged... |

RE: A trip to the grocery store
Imagine if she wanted you. And you had to uphold the Tourette's façade for some time... Particularly if she was into that kind of thing somehow.
That is your homework. |

RE: A trip to the grocery store
Could always call it a "mild form" of Tourette's....
