The reason for the sticky nature is the release agent still coating the model. Plastic and Resin need to be washed thoroughly with soap prior to painting. Release agents are used to separate the model from the mold. The release agent will cause a non binding effect on any applique and prevent it from adhering properly creating a tacky feel. |
