The learnig curve is there,it's not great but it does take a lot of checking to make
sure you're getting all the actions. Competitive mode does bring in more rules, did you use any of the Advanced Elements? They add a lot to the Game but again add more rules. I've found the rules not difficult but until you get into the flow you do have to keep checking to make your doing all the steps.
