Looks like you found it, but to recap this is what should happen:
You are KO'd and returned to your home city. You collect Glory. You collect the Artifact. You lose D6 stuff. Roll a D6 for the artifact: 1 - 3 Lose it, 4 - 6 Keep it. I would say that the only exception to this would be Artifacts that require an additional fight after the last danger is completed. Like ...Of the Dead where your you have to fight and defeat zombies. If this were the case, then you would get sent home, collect glory, lose D6 stuff, lose your progress for the Artifact. |
