RE: OD's SoB Game Blog
The Game is about finished the 2nd clue was found on the 4th Tile after 7 turns.
Of course now the posse has to fight 1 Night Terror,3 Stranglers,& 5 Hungry dead. I messed around about 4 hours on this but more likely 2 of those were taking breaks or checking the Rule Book. Oddly enough I never got a corridor tile but had a chance to try out most of the Game Options. The 5 stranglers held on for 3 Turns & beat up on the Ranger so she only has 4 Health left & used up her grit & the Revive Token to keep her going. So she might not make it through the final fight. I did find the Fan created $ & XP cards very useful over having to track them on paper. In the end the Strangles KO Deliah right from the Get Go & Luis held out to finish off the Hungary Dead but the Stranglers got him as well. The ensnare Ability is a killer & those things could Roll 6's. I'm going ahead & play through the Town Board to see how it works as I'll keep these 2 Heroes for future Campaigns. I'll try to finish up a Game Report by tomorrow. Well the Town Board screwed me over as well but not too badly. I enjoyed the Game I had to do a lot of Rule Checking (It would have been helpful if the Rule Book was Indexed) but that was expected in a first Game. I only made a few mistakes & I caught them right away so I could correct them without disrupting the Game. I need to play a bit more before hitting Otherworld Missions & using some of the Advanced Rules. Previously on this Threat I outlined a back Story For A few Dark Stone More with the Marshal & Indian Scout so I'm keeping my Card decks out so set up will be quicker. Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,— Wailing for the lost one that comes not again: |
