Battle Summary:

The Battle started Slowly as neither side was anxious to attack. The Lust Forces occupied the high ground and were reluctant to move against the Empires Line and give up that advantage. Likewise the Empire Troops didn't want to attack the Lust forces superior position. Finally the Empire broke the stalemate sending the 3rd Austrian Regiment supported by 3rd Bohemian Battalion against the Lust Right Flank. The Lust Army responded with Bran Carnoth Lost Battalion moving against the Empires Right Flank where the 1st Bavarian Arquebus and the Austrian Dopplesoldner Battalions held the high ground. Again the Battle paused as both sides troops held back from charging the enemy occupying higher ground.

The 1st Bavarian broke the impasse by firing a volley into Bran Carnoth Battalion but to little effect and Bran Carnoth quickly followed up charging the Bavarians and forcing them back. The Empire then moved forward in the Center with the 1st Papal Regiment supported by 2nd Papal Regiment advancing towards the Lust Armies Battle Line. The Succubus Regiment met Papal Troops and in a sharp melee pushed them back. The Empire was able to rally both the Bavarians and the Papal Troops and they returned to their positions in the Battle Line. The Austrian Dopplesoldner Battalion charges Bran Carnoth Lost Battalion intending to eliminate the threat to their Right Wing only to be repulsed leaving the Bavarians to try to hold the Empires Right. The Lust forces go on the offensive in the Center a Succubus Regiment attacks the 3rd Papal Regiment which breaks and routs. Another Succubus on the Lust Right Wing attacks the 3rd Austrian Regiment which also breaks and routs. The Dopplesoldner manages to rally and return to the Battle Line.

Bran Carnoth Battalion renews its attack on the Bavarian Arquebus Battalion trying to break the Empires Right Wing but the Bavarians hold firm with the support from the returning Dopplesoldner Regiment..The 2nd Austrian Regiment hoping redress its setback on its Left Flank moves against the Lust Right Flank. The Lord of Lust feeling the Battle is at a turning point orders an all assault on the Empires Left Wing 2 Regiments of the Succubus Brigade supported by a 3rd Regiment attack the 2nd Austrian Regiment and the 3rd Bohemian Militia routing both. The Empire with its Left Flank now only held by the 1st Bohemian Militia and in danger of being breeched withdraws rather than risk further casualties .


Result: The Lust win a Minor gaining 4( 3 for winning + 1 for excess Empire casualties)Campaign Victory points. The Empire gains 2 Victory Points.
