Battle Summary

The Battle opened by an infective Empire bombardment of the Demonic Left Flank.
Then Inquisitor General Maculano moved the 1st Papal Regiment and the Imperial
Doppelsoldner Battalion out in the Center towards the Demonic forces.The 2 Glutton Demons
respond by charging the advancing Empire troops.The resulting clash scattered both Hordes.
The Demon Horde on their Right Flank advanced on the 1st Bohemian Militia and a Flagellant
Battalion headed toward the 1st Austrian Arquebus Battalion.

Inquisitor General Maculano now seeing the Demonic Center weakness brings up the 2nd Papal
Regiment to support the 1st and with the Imperial Doppelsoldner Battalion charges the single
Glutton Demon Horde trying to preserve the Glutton's Center.The Demon Horde is swept aside
by the crushing attack and the Empire breaks the Glutton's Line. Seeing themselves now outflanked
the Demonic Army flee leaving the field to the victorious Empire.

Result: The Empire gained a Major Victory gaining 5 Campaign Victory points
however since the Gluttons actually suffered no casualties ( the leaderless Demons after retreating have
no way to rally )so -1 was subtracted from the Victor Campaign Victory point Total making a gain of 4.

Battle Summary:

The Empire started its assault by bombarding the Gluttons Left Flank but the barrage fell short. General Gluck them ordered the
Imperial Imperial Doppelsoldner Battalion and the 2nd Bavarian Aquebus Battalion forward in the Center .The Gluttons responded
by moving it's entire Right Flank forward towards the Empire Line.The 3rd Squamata moved forward on the Left Flank and the 2nd
Squamata Regiment move against the Empires Center.

The Empire Artillery again fell short against the Gluttons's Left Flank but the 3rd Bavarian Aquebus Battalion laid down a withering
fire on the advancing 3rd Squamate Regiment totally destroying the Unit. The 2nd Squamata's forward movement was shattered by a
volley from the 2nd Bavarian Battalion in the Center and forced to retreat.The Gluttons commander Carreau pulls the Demon Horde
on the Left Flank back to the main battle line and then orders an all out charge on the Right Flank.The move is a disaster a Flagellant
becomes entangled with the 1st Bavarian Aquebus Battalion supported by the 2nd Papal Regiment and become bogged down. The 2
Demon Hordes assail Inquisitor General Vincenzo Maculano 1st Papal Regiment and are both destroyed leaving the Gluttons
Right Flank dangerous weakened with only a single Flagellant Battalion holding. Carreau manages to reform and rally the 2nd Squamata
Regiment.

General Gluck now seeing the Battle at a tipping point puts full pressure on the Glutton's Right Flank the Papal Brigade now prepare
to attack the Flagellant Battalion but before they can the 1st Bavarian Aquebus Battalion fires into the Flagellants destroying them.
The Gluttons Battle Line is broken their remaining forces flee and Carreau is forced to surrender.The Empire has won a Major Victory
and conquered the III Level of Hell.
