I have loads of advanced heroquest stuff plus heroquest and advanced heroquest the games if I need to plunder them for stuff. With my added addition of Prelude, Quest and Mystery (Atoe mystery cards are called Omen cards in my game) cards, they add even more to the theme. The prelude cards add a backstory to what happened just before this game. And it affects the upcoming game in small ways and has the starting location for the adventurers. The quest card is a side adventure for our heroes should they wish to attempt it. And the Mystery card is the way the adventurers must go about finding the lair to force a showdown. It can change every game as per the card drawn and there are 10 of them. Adds a lot more replayability imo as now the starting spot, villain and the way to go about finding the villain changes each game. |
