It's definitely worth seeing on an IMAX screen if you have one in your area. It's beautiful.
The story and characters are not particularly fresh and new -- it's a movie that uses archetypes. This isn't a bad thing -- Star Wars used archetypes, and was a great movie -- but don't go in expecting anything fresh and new, or you'll be disappointed. Expect a story that uses archetypes well, and is extremely pretty, and you'll have a wonderful time. That's my 2-cents, anyway. |
