I'm not a great fan of the senseless gore films/torture porn that seem to have saturated the market at the moment. Maybe the effects are getting a bit too realistic, maybe it's the lack of story or point to the violence. Maybe I'm just getting squeamish. I have seen a few of the Saw films and the Hostel films and they bore and annoy me.
