Automatic Card Shuffler

RE: Automatic Card Shuffler
Hmm, I've never had a problem with shuffling. I stay away from using a riffle shuffle as much as possible and always do a pile shuffle because that's also how I make sure that I still have the correct number of cards, e.g. using a 5 pile shuffle on a 60 card deck means each pile has 12 cards - I know immediately if I'm missing a card.

No, I do not use sleeves. So, I can't comment on how well it works if you do. But, with the cards just as is (and so far I have the base game, a few of the web supplements, and Growing Hunger), it works just fine.

If it ever got to where there were too many cards in the deck for it to fit, you could always split it up a bit, say in half, then shuffle the two halves separately. You could even get creative, perhaps and then split them up again differently to shuffle even further and make it even more random.

For the record, obviously I don't know how much the one cost that my friend got me, but it looks like a fairly inexpensive one. In other words, it doesn't look like it is super high-tech like something a casino may use. Yet, so far, I have not had any problem with it.
