RE: DISTRICT-Z is Alive!
One question - wouldn't players always just go the quick diagonal route from top left to bottom right (3 cards in your 9 card grid example in the video demo)? What are the incentives for not doing this?
I'm sure you've covered this but it would be good to know why or how you manouvre. |

RE: DISTRICT-Z is Alive!
Firstly, you can't move diagonally. Secondly, you have to find a location objective before you can win the game by getting to the other corner.

I tried to cover all the bases. It's been brewed and tested for about 4 years now. Trying to work the kinks out...

RE: DISTRICT-Z is Alive!
Damn-Sarku has gone "Uptown"- DZ is being Blurbed on BGG + it has it's own Site.
http://www.district-z.com/ .The Project is 1/3 Funded with 19 days to go. I had a chance to read the Rules & they hang together from Solo to multiplayer & you can fight Zombies or other Survivors to stop them from winning. The "City" has a standard layout but it says you can use your own layout-I could use my own town but I don't know how many Mexican Stores the Game Cards have? Good job Chief -if this gets funded maybe you could up the Mods salaries. OD Sighing like the night wind and sobbing like the rain,— Wailing for the lost one that comes not again: |

RE: DISTRICT-Z is Alive!
I just noticed you mention this project in the FFG Kickstarter thread. I had no idea you were behind the project but I was in as an early bird backer from the first day. Actually I just sent you a message through kickstarter about my early bird pledge and shipping to Canada..... Good luck with the project, with 19 days to go I'm sure you'll get funded.

RE: DISTRICT-Z is Alive!
Well I backed the project & I hope it makes it, looks like we're half way time wise but still less than 50% funded.
I hope things pick up I wouldn't want Sarku to have to sell his place in the South of France. This looks like a cool little card game but it's hard first time projects from an unknown designer to break through.
