Day by day armageddon
I got the day by day Armageddon book after I read this forum. I bought it yesterday and read last night.

Now I need the rest of the books

Dammit

I have not read a full book in a long long time.

Any one here from Long Island NY?

RE: Day by day armageddon
the 2nd is different than the first. i really liked the first. some of the stuff in the 2nd seems forced to work.. but not a bad read. i'm on the 3rd one now... interesting twists...

Day by day armageddon
The first book really makes me want solar panels. I have a generator but it is too loud and during hurricane Sandy's aftermath of power loss people had their generators stolen.

Not to mention that zombies might be attracted to my generator.

RE: Day by day armageddon
always good to have a couple options.

them whisper propane jobs can be nice. no fuel setup easy start. quiet.. but low power. however couple that with a bat charger, a big truck or tractor battery, and hte now 'cheap' large inverters you can get ( 2000-4000w not uncommon , and now thanks to harbor freight.. affordable ).. and you have a few options. toss in a solar panel for the ultra quiet days and you got plenty of power options from 120 to 240 on the big inverters.. plus 12vdc.. add in a lil adapter and you can even hav ethe lower voltages in battery increment sizes from 1.5 thru 9v and the usb stuff.

I really need to start prepping this stuff before the next hurricane takes out our power for a 1-3 weeks again.
