I saw this at Gencon last year, but the demo tables were always full. It looked interesting. Pretty much any game by FFP gets my sale.

I received some updates from Mary Beth and Chris at FFP today.
From Mary Beth: "Dark Gothic is being printed, we are just waiting for it to arrive. My latest guess, and this is only a guess, is end of May. There was yet another delay with the custom die in Chinese customs. Arrgghh." Thank you, Mary Beth Magallanes From: Chris Kemnow: "Thank you for writing. Originally, we had estimated a February release. Unfortunately, a few key dates slipped due to the manufacturing schedule bumping up against Chinese New Year and our desire for only the highest quality components. Specifically, Dark Gothic is our first game to include a custom six-sided die (the Omen Die) and we wanted to be sure that it was great! The good news is that we are working with dice experts in Europe to create the Custom Omen Die for Dark Gothic. We do not yet have a specific release date, but we are anticipating that it will be arriving before the end of Spring." Chris Kemnow So, on the one hand I'm happy they wrote back. On the other hand we could be looking at late May - early June before we see Dark Gothic.
