Rockstar have announced more DLC for Red Dead. The following is from Rockstar's mail-out:

LEGENDS & KILLERS PACK

Releasing beginning of August 2010
New active map locations, characters and more:
9 New Multiplayer map locations - more than doubling the amount of territories in the Multiplayer Competitive modes
8 New Multiplayer characters - play as characters from Red Dead Revolver
Introducing a new projectile weapon: the Tomahawk, with corresponding Challenges for single player and multiplayer
New Achievements/Trophies
Pricing: 800 Microsoft Points


LIARS & CHEATS PACK

New Competitive Modes, Multiplayer Mini-games in Free Roam, and more:
'Attack and Defend' Multiplayer Competitive Mode and Challenges
New Multiplayer Horse Races complete with mounted combat
Play as the heroes and villains of Red Dead Redemption as well as 8 additional multiplayer characters
Multiplayer versions of Liars Dice and Poker from the single-player game
Introducing a new weapon: the Explosive Rifle, with associated Challenges available in single-player and multiplayer
New Achievements/Trophies

Also, the Liars & Cheats pack is bringing in the gambling games from the single player game which is very welcome in my books (as well as being a no-brainer!).

Here is a run down on what "Griefing" is:

Quote:1. Purposefully shooting or otherwise sabotaging your teammates in an online game.
2. In online gaming where one repeatedly killing the same individual or individuals over and over again, or camping their corpse to prevent them from retrieving it, or otherwise performing actions in a game to prevent the player from enjoying the game.
3. In online gaming, someone who takes pleasure in creating grief for an opponent via various "cheap" tactics.

I suppose it would have stop the respawn-shot-respawn-shot scenario that we had a bit of when we were trying to take that fort.

So my thinking is if Rockstar want everybody to be effected by the 'anti-griefing' measures, then the Free Roam Pack should be free or else why would the griefers pay for it.

Also find it amusing that they are going to add Wild West zombies, when adding zombies to GTA4 SHOULD be a no brainer!

I still think having to get from one side of Liberty City, to the other, with hordes of zombies and 'crazy survivalists' in between would be the best game ever!

Don't forget Vike that Dead Rising 2 has a co-op option, so we can get to kill lots of zombies together just in "Vegas" father than "New York":

Zombie cowboys? Interesting. I'll end up getting this anyways, as I just want some new Red Dead stuff to play, but zombies just makes it sweeter!
