Pred's Mulg The Ancient
The is just more pics of the work Ive been doing. I know its not related to the site,
but this is the only forums I go to and like to here the criticisms. Plus, I like to show Trev how much someone can improve from using his guidelines. This the one of the largest figures in the Trollblood Faction in the game Hordes and I just finished it. I hope you like my paint interpretation of it. Enjoy ~If we are being chased by Zombies, I'm tripping you!!! |

Wow! What was the set up for the runes? Did you paint them first and then carefully paint around them? This is a nice looking model.

RE: Pred's Mulg The Ancient
Well I started with a darker green, then made careful strokes over
the symbols as not to dig any paint in them. Gave the whole top side a wash and let it dry. Afterwards I made a watery Mix of bright green and slopped greens in all the crevices. Took my fingers and rubbed off anything protruding past the crevices, and did my fingers in water if it dried over while wiping it off and continued until clean. Same on Hammer... ~If we are being chased by Zombies, I'm tripping you!!! |

RE: Pred's Mulg The Ancient
Great job there Pred. It looks amazing.
If I may add a small comment. I would darken more in the blue skin depths so the figure would become more hulkier due to the contrast with the lighter blue. Just my 2 cents. I am the reason God stopped watching. |

To see it in person you can see the 2... actually 3 contrast colors
very well. I think the flash makes everything so bright you just cant tell from the pictures. Thanks for the criticism though, I'll try that much harder on the next one. ~If we are being chased by Zombies, I'm tripping you!!! |

Pred you've done it again. I love how striking these guys look. I'm sure they blow many drab looking armies away.
You're next step... Killer bases. You can do it, I have Faith. |
