RE: Resident Evil Heroes
"Bumpkiss." Nada. Zip and zilch. It's another way of saying "nothing."

RE: Resident Evil Heroes
Originally "Bumpkiss" was spelled "bupkis" and pronounced without the M. Over time, people misinterpreted what was said and it somehow became "Bumpkiss". The word "Bumpkiss" has only been around for maybe 20-25 years, where as "Bupkis" originally a southern slang term meaning 'nothing', has been around for well over 100 years. They both now mean the same thing 'Nothing'.
And there is your bit of useless trivia from me for the day... why? Cause I am board! :P LOL |

RE: Resident Evil Heroes
I've NEVER heard of "bupkis" with an M. Not that is comes up too often, but still.
"From the shards of tattered dreams, I rose - unwilling... Tossed upon tides of pain that flowed and ebbed and left me searingly awake. And more revoltingly - alive..." |

RE: Resident Evil Heroes
Yeah, I've always heard it "bupkis." "Bumpkiss" just sounds weird to me. I'm surprised to find its origins are in the south. I thought it was a Hebrew thing. At least, it seems like most of the times I have heard it, it was coming from some old Jewish guy in a TV show or movie.
Surprising there aren't any Resident Evil minis out there! |
