Two player games?
What are the best two player games you have played?

Then, a follow up question. Would these games pass the wife test?

* Forbidden Island. If you don't have it, get it.
* A game I recently got from Kickstarter -- Mage Tower -- quickly became one of my favorite 2-player games.
* FFP's other game, FANG, is great with two players. (As is LNOE, but it fails the wife test for some wives... And it's difficult to have one player control all 4 heroes sometimes.)

I concur with the Forbidden Island. it is a fun co-op that is family friendly.

I also recommend Carcassonne: I think it is my favorite two player game and it is quite classy. I bought several for Christmas gifts to people of all walks of life (my own mother included) and everyone got hooked on it's straightforward play and interesting strategy.

Hi.

I support Forbidden Island. There is also Lost Cities, and Roll thru the Ages.

If LNOE is wife approved. Try Eminent Domain, or Race thru the Galaxy

RE: Two player games?
Yeah Lost Cities is cool for two, real funny.
But I don't now how big the cards are in America, but in Germany they published it in oversized cards, totaly useless xD
takes to much place on the table...

I played a lot FANG vs, it is really fun with 2 players. also fast played
and we always played 2-3 rounds ^^

I like blood bowl team manager - card game if you play it only with 2.

Nichtlustig is very funny, love this game!

I'm just a dreaming zombie...

Smash Up and Pandemic are the only games my wife enjoys occasionally she likes king of Tokyo. She is not a gamer so when there is alot of things necessary such as dice plus cards plus moving etc like in LNoE she loses focus. She is good when there is really only cards or only dice.

RE: Two player games?
We tried a Co-op game: Pandemic. My wife didn't like it, she thought it was too simple. I still want to try another Co-op game. Right now she doesn't like LNOE, with 2 players. I think because she was heroes with too much to track with 4 Hereos and she never felt like she could do a lot in a turn. She wanted to run around the board and kill zombies quickly. She loves Catan, LOTR: Risk. We also have been playing Android: Netrunner and she likes it.

I've heard Kings of Tokyo from many different places, I really want to try that. She likes LOTR, so Lord of the rings: the confrontation' sounds very interesting. Lost Cities also sounds like fun too.
